Nigeria: I Was Not Slapped - Davido

Nigeria's fast rising musician, Davido Adeleke, popularly known as Davido has debunked rumours that he had a scuffle with mobile policemen. The unconfirmed reports claimed that the hit-maker was slapped by policemen for being rude and it was posted on the internet.

But the 19-year-old musician quickly took to his Twitter page to deny the story, saying it was untrue and baseless.

'I am safe and at home ... Stop the lies! Unlike some of you, there are some people out there that care ...Omo Baba Olowo: Genesis Out Soon', he tweeted. Davido, who is currently signed on to HKN records would be launching his debut album O.B.O soon.
