Nigeria: Crisis Looms in PDP As Tukur Nominates Mantu, Zwingina, Others As Board Chairmen

Abuja — Serious crisis is now looming at the national secretariat of the People's Democratic Party, PDP, following the alleged favouritism to some geo-political zones in the submission of names of chairmen and members of various government parastatals submitted by the National Chairman, Alhaji Bamanga Tukur to President Goodluck Jonathan for consideration.

Saturday Vanguard gathered yesterday that in the list submitted by Tukur to President Jonathan, the former Deputy President of the Senate, Senator Ibrahim Mantu will chair the Board of Nigeria Railway Corporation, NRC.
