Luanda — The Speaker of the Cuban National Assembly, Ricardo Alarcón de Quesada, manifested satisfaction at the architectonic development of Luanda, with emphasis on the city's main area.
The Cuban parliamentarian said that for years the city was on the centre of attention, especially due to the armed conflict, it was seen as a reservoir of pain and suffering, but currently its growth is noticed with new constructions, organisation and happy residents.
In about 45 minutes the president of the Cuban National Assembly, met Luanda governor, Bento Francisco Sebastião Bento.
During his stay in Angola the head of the Cuban parliament will meet the ministers of Education, Mpinda Simão, and Industry, Joaquim David, and give a lecture at the Palace of Congresses with the theme "Cuba, options and prospects."
