Liberia: Journalists Urged to Report On Sanitation Matters

The President of the Press Union of Liberia (PUL), Mr. Peter Quaqua, has called on Liberia journalists to prioritize issues that border on water and sanitation. Mr. Quaqua encouraged journalists to also include their reportage issues about water and sanitation in the country.

The PUL President observed that water and sanitation greatly affect ordinary people, and as such, they must be equally reported. Mr. Quaqua made these comments Friday, June 29, 2012, when he served as facilitator of a three-day Reporters and Editors (R&E) workshop on water, sanitation and hygiene in Monrovia.
