Namibia: Govt Officials Clueless About Farming

The beneficiary of Unit B at resettlement farm Khabus, in the Tses district, Christian Motinga, says farmers have difficulty getting help from government officials in the Karas Region, especially those dealing with land and water issues.

"The tender for water rehabilitation was apparently given out, but they manipulated the whole system and we are still struggling with water," Motinga said when New Era found him next to the Keetmanshoop/Mariental main road, busy inspecting fences around his farm.
