Lagos — Foreign direct investments would only come to Nigeria when Nigerians deem it fit to invest in the economy, President of the Lagos Chambers of Commerce and Industry Mr. Goody Ibru has said.
Ibru disclosed this weekend at the 2012 Crystal Nite of Excellence organised by Commerce & Industry Correspondents Association of Nigeria (CICAN).
He said the Chinese attained their current position in global economy because they took advantage of opportunities and every challenge they encountered.
Ibru challenged Nigerians not to succumb to the myriad of challenges bedeviling the nation.
According to him, Nigerians should rather see the very opportunities in them and invest in the economy.
