Kenya: Multichoice Offer Free Dstv Installation for Olympics Athletes

The Kenya team to the London Olympic Games received a major boost after Multichoice offered free Dstv installation and free premium subscription. Multichoice will connect each of the 150 strong contingent households as soon as individuals nominate their next of kin at an estimated cost of Sh2.5 million through it's countrywide installers.

Speaking during the launch Multichoice East Africa Regional director Stephen Isaboke said Kenya's representatives to the Olympics needed a morale boost to ensure they replicate the success Kenya has enjoyed over the time. " As always, we are sure the Olympic team will fly the Kenya flag high and we want all their kin to catch the Olympics action live on Supersport channels that will exclusively air the entire Olympic action," said Isaboke. Supersport will dedicate five channels to the Olympics which start on July 27.

Assistant minister for sports Kabando Wa Kabando thanked Multichoice for the offer, saying it will go along way in boosting the athletes motivation at the games. "I commend Multichoice for the generous offer in supporting our athletes for the Olympics and and I know they will be motivated to do even better come the games in London," observed Kabando.
