Sierra Leone: Central Parade Records First Win

Central Parade has finally ended their 12 games winless run following their 2-0 victory yesterday morning over Gem Stars at the SLFA football academy ground; thanks to goals from striker Ibrahim Sillah aka 'Agago Jr.' and Ibrahim Bangura.

It was Sillah's first goal in six matches since joining the club in the second round of the Sierra Leone Premier League season and already the striker is targeting four goals in Parade's next four matches in the league.

"At last my goal for the club finally came and I'm very happy for that. I'm now looking forward to scoring four or more goals in our remaining five matches," Sillah said adding that the poor nature of the stadium pitch has been a hindrance to his ambition of scoring more goals.

The win moved Central Parade to 10th position in the league table with 25 points from 21 matches and the young striker is confident his goals can inspire the club finish on high in the league table.

He said: "It is always good to score important goals for your club and I'm happy to see my goal help the club ends its winless run. I look forward to more of them before the season ends."
