Tunisia: Bar Situation Looked At

Carthage — President Moncef Marzouki discussed, on Wednesday, with Bar Association Chairman Chawki Tabib the situation of the Bar and means to resolve the problems lawyers are faced with, most particularly young lawyers who are confronted to material hardships.

According to a press release from the Presidency of the Republic, Mr. Tabib underscored the barristers' vanguard role during the Revolution, emphasising the need to assist the democratic change the country is undergoing to lay the foundations of the Second Republic.
