Angola: Police Seize Weapons in Luanda

Luanda — Police in Luanda seized various weapons, in June, under the disarmament campaign of citizens in illegal possession of these means, a process that started in April 2008, ANGOP has learnt.

A report from the corporation says that in May were seized 109 weapons as well as 15 bullets magazines and 11 ammunitions.

The source says that awareness campaigns continue to happen for the citizens to hand over their illegally-owned weapons.
