Angola: Second Leg of First Division Football Championship Starts Friday

Luanda — The second and last leg of the national first division football championship (Girabola2012) will start on Friday, a stage that is seen as crucial for the objectives of the contesting teams.

The main contenders to the title are Recreativo do Libolo (defending champion and leader with 37 points), 1º de Agosto (33 points) and Atlético Sport Aviação "ASA" (29), since they occupy the first top positions, but there are also chances for Petro de Luanda, Kabuscorp, Interclube and Progresso do Sambizanga.

The opening (16th) round of Girabola's second leg, which starts Friday, will be between Benfica de Luanda and Nacional de Benguela, but the main highlight is the "clash" between 1º de Agosto (2nd place with 33 points) and Interclube, who stand sixth with 22 points.

In the first leg 1º de Agosto and Interclube drew 1-1.
