Angola: Planning Minister Visits Central Bureau of Census

Luanda — Angolan Planning minister Ana Dias Lourenço will visit Friday the Central Bureau of Census (GCC), in Luanda, in order to learn of the work done so far under the Census of Population and Housing (RGPH/2013).

This is the minister's first visit to the institution, said a press note sent Thursday to Angop that quoted the Central Bureau of Census as saying.

During her stay in GCC Ana Dias Lourenço will discuss with the general coordinator of census, among other matters, the preparation of 2013 census.

The Angolan Government is engaged in preparation of General Census of People and Housing, centred on full operation that include collection compilation, assessment, analysis and release of demographic and socioeconomic data of all residents and houses.
