Angola: PAV Urges Parents' Collaboration in Vaccination Process

Matala — The supervisor of Expanded Vaccination Programme (PAV) in Matala, southern Huíla province, Jorge Ndala, urged on Thursday the parents to cooperate with vaccinators, by getting their children vaccinated so that the minors may grow healthily.

Speaking to Angop, the official informed that there is small collaboration from parents, making difficult to achieve the intentions of the health authorities in eradicating poliomyelitis.

Jorge Ndala stressed that the municipal hospital organized routine vaccination in July.

The PAV vaccinated 830 children under the age of five.
