Egypt: NCHR - Rule of Law, Citizenship 'Basis' for Democratic Society

The establishment of a democratic republic "the second republic in Egypt" should be founded on the rule of law, the principles of citizenship and the non-discrimination, said Deputy Head of the National Council of Human Rights (NCHR) Mohamed Fayeq on Thursday 05/07/2012.

The January 25 Revolution proved that Egyptians are able to face any challenge and hindrances to achieve freedom, dignity and social justice, Fayeq added during the inauguration of a workshop on the role of societal participation in developing human rights.
