Angola: Eighth CPLP Games Opened With Absence of Guinea-Bissau

Lisbon — The opening ceremony of the 8th Sports Games of the Portuguese Speaking Countries Community (CPLP) happened Saturday in Mafra, Lisbon, with a big celebration party that aimed at uniting young people of this community.

The ceremony will included a parade of the delegations headed by about 400 young students.

The great absence from the CPLP Games will be Guinea-Bissau, a fact confirmed by a source of the organising committee, who did not give more details.
