Sumbe — The coffee producers of Amboim Municipality, Kwanza Sul Province, defended last weekend in Gabela locality, the need for the Angolan state to create incentives for the restructuring and recovering of coffee production in the country.
In an interview to ANGOP, during a coffee trade fair, the agriculturalist Lucinda Mário de Castro Cunha, owner of the Gizela Farm, said there is a lot of will to work for the recovering of coffee farms in the region.
He noted that coffee contributed to a large extent to building up the cities.
"If the state invests in this sector, we believe that taxes resulting from the production of coffee will help the country's economic growth," said the official.
