Tunisia: 'Haqi' New Association to Promote Human Rights Culture

Tunis — The association "HAQI" (my right) for the promotion of human rights culture, held its first congress on Sunday morning.

The aim of this non-profit making association set up in December 2011 is to deep-root and better make known the culture of human rights through the holding of workshops and plans meant for all kinds of target people (students, firms, children, political parties ..) said its President Karim Chafroud in his address.

The plan of action of the association includes 4 projects aimed to raise the awareness of participants (children, students, employees ..) on human rights issues, namely educational games, a human rights newspaper, a festival of human rights and a documentary or a short film.
