Tunisia: UFM Concerned With Economic Projects' Formulation and Presentation Methods

Tunis — A workshop on "The Methods of Formulation and Presentation of Economic Projects" was held, on Monday, at the initiative of the Union For the Mediterranean (UFM), jointly with Tunisia's Foreign Ministry.

The workshop aims to ensure 80 executives working in Tunisian Ministries and public enterprises with technical training and help them develop achievable projects that could be funded.

Since its launch, in March 2010, UFM has been endeavouring to energise partnership and co-operation between the Mediterranean northern and southern rims, through the achievement of regional projects which have a palpable impact on the local inhabitants.

UFM Secretary-General Fathallah Sijilmassi paid a visit last June to Tunisia, and met with the Ministers of Foreign Affairs, Investment and International Co-operation and in Charge of Economic Issues.

He briefed them about the various activities achieved as part of UFM and discussed with them co-operation prospects between Tunisia and this structure.
