President of Benin, Dr Thomas Yayi Boni, Visits African Development Bank

The president of Benin, Dr Thomas Yayi Boni, will be making a visit to the African Development Bank at its temporary relocation agency offices in Tunis on 10 July. He will meet the president of the AfDB, Dr Donald Kaberuka, and senior managers of the Bank, to discuss the AfDB's role in the development of his country.

President Boni will be accompanied by a three-person technical team which will spend two days in Tunis in discussions with senior AfDB executives.

President Boni is also currently the chairperson of the African Union, having been elected to this position in January 2012.
