Dr. Peter Rwakwach, who is speculated to have treated Rwandan fugitive Felicien Kabuga, was interviewed by NTV Kenya only days before his death.

A retired Kenyan Doctor, J.K. Rwakwach, who was linked to wanted Genocide fugitive, Felicien Kabuga, has mysteriously died.

The former military doctor and a retired colonel was recently named in an NTV investigative documentary that he had treated Kabuga from a military facility.

"I can confirm that my father is dead, but I am not going to give any details," the deceased's son told Kenyan press today.

The doctor on duty at MP Shah Hospital, Dr John Magomere, also confirmed Dr Rakwach had died on Tuesday evening.

"He was taken to the ICU on Friday and the family was notified," he was quoted as saying. He declined to give further details.

Kabuga, one of the world's most wanted fugitives, is widely believed to have bankrolled the 1994 Genocide against the Tutsi in which over million people were killed.
