Eritreans in Kenya Express Readiness to Back Up National Development Programs

Asmara — The Eritrean community in Kenya expressed readiness to back up national development programs. They made the pledge in a meeting they conducted on July 8.

Speaking at the meeting, Mr. Beyene Rusom, the Eritrean Ambassador to Kenya, stated that anti-Eritrea agenda would end up in utter failure in line with the people's readiness to mount staunch resistance. Stating that the Horn region has become volatile due to external political interference, he further indicated that Eritrea is exerting endeavors in collaboration with neighboring countries and stakeholders to reinstate peace in the region.

The participants asserted that they are as ever ready to combat external conspiracies, and enhance their political awareness in this regard.
