Angola: Interclube Beat Caala in 17th Round

Luanda — The team of Interclube defeated Recreativo da Caála by 3-0 in the opening game of the 17th round of the National Football League first division.

With this victory, the police side now totalling 28 points are in fifth position, while the team of Huambo hold the ninth position with 21.

Recreativo do Libolo lead the race with 40 points, while the Nacional de Benguela is on the bottom with seven.

The 17th round continues Saturday with Sagrada Esperança - Santos FC, National de Benguela - Progress, Atlético do Namibe - Bravos do Maquis, Academica do Soyo - Libolo and ASA - Benfica de Luanda, and it ends on Sunday with Kabuscorp - 1 º de Agosto and Petro de Luanda - Sporting de Cabinda.
