His Excellency the President Sheikh Professor Alhaji Dr Yahya AJJ Jammeh, the president of the Republic and commander-in-chief of the Gambia Armed Forces has relieved Brigadier General Alhaji Martin, commander, State Guards, of his command responsibilities and discharged from the Gambia Armed Forces with immediate effects.
A media release from State House revealed that Brigadier General Alhaji Martin is now deployed to the Foreign Service as a civilian.
