Angola Draw With East Timor, Face Portugal in Semi-Finals

Lisbon — The Angolan national soccer Under-16 team drew 1-1 Tuesday with East Timor in a game played at the Mafra's Sports Centre, Portugal, ranking second in Group 2, behind the youngest Portuguese speaking nation.

The goal was scored by the Angolan Nandinho at 16 minutes of the first half, while the East Timor, through Julião Ximenes, levelled at the final two minutes.

The result will enable Angola to play Portugal (the first in Group 1) in semi-finals.

In their turn, the East Timor face the second of group 1, Cape Verde, that beat Tuesday 5-0 Brazil in the decisive round.
