Tigo Rwanda has launched its new "I am with Tigo" campaign, which according to the company's head of products and marketing Mathieu Dutrisac reflects how customers feel about the brand, and is a recognition of what Tigo has done and is still doing to keep their subscribers connected with their loved ones.
Dutrisac added that the campaign is based on several testimonies gathered from customers who prefer the Tigo network. According to him, that is due to the fact that for Tigo, innovation is the top priority, citing examples such as Tigo being the first phone company to allow customers to choose their numbers, the possibility to borrow airtime and pay back later through Tira Tigo, the Tigo Muzika package etc.
The "I am with Tigo" campaign also has its signature tune, the song Rwanda Uri Nziza which is a collaboration between Urban Boys, Dream Boys, Riderman and Radio from Uganda, and which describes the pride of being Rwandan.
