Egypt: Tayyeb - Expatriates Very Important for Their Country

The Grand Imam of Al-Azhar Dr. Ahmad El-Tayyeb urged the Egyptian expatriates to play an effective role in pushing forward the wheel of production, because Egypt is in a dire need of them at this critical stage.

During his meeting with a delegation of Egyptian expatriates on Thursday 12/07/2012, Tayyeb said he appreciates the success achieved by Egyptians in Europe, America and Asia. He noted that Al-Azhar is paying attention to Egypt's sons abroad because they represent a tremendous asset for their country on various levels.

Tayyeb stressed that the Egyptian expatriates should play a role thus contributing to the progress of their nation and settlement of problems facing it, such as unemployment, illiteracy, health and economy. He made clear that Al-Azhar is keen on spreading teachings of Moderate Islam all over the world.
