Luanda — The national under 16 male table-tennis team will face Portugal this Friday for the semi-finals of the Portuguese Speaking Countries Community (CPLP) Games, after defeating Mozambique by 3-0 on Thursday.
Angola ended in the second position of group B, led by Brazil, who will play the other semi-final with Cape Verde.
The Cape Verdeans managed to qualify in group A, headed by Portugal.
On the other hand, the national female team, after two consecutive defeats (with Mozambique and Brazil), compromised their desire to winning the bronze medal after losing to Cape Verde by 3-0.
The Angolan female team's last game is scheduled for Saturday, with Portugal.
