Nigeria: TMG Gets New Executive

The Transition Monitoring Group (TMG) has elected new executive council and national coordinating committee with Mualeem Ibrahim Zikirullahi as the new National Chairman. He succeeded Comrade Mashood Erubami.

TMG National Coordinator Zainab Abdullahi-Mohammed said yesterday in Abuja that Zikirullahi emerged chairman at the Biennial General Meeting (BGM) held in Ibadan.

Other elected officials are Goroso Giwa Limota (Vice Chairman), Jacob Aaron (Treasurer), Chief Eddy Ezurike (Publicity Secretary), Sadiq Abubakar Ibrahim (Zonal Coordinator, North East), Dr. Osita Nnamani Ogbu (Zonal Coordinator, South East), Rommy Mom (Zonal Coordinator, North Central), Bisi Yomi Layinka (Zonal Coordinator, South West) and Barr. Innih Archibong (Zonal Coordinator, South-south).
