Gambia: Senegalese Delegation Arrives Ahead of 22nd July Sports Championship

A seven-man Senegalese delegation headed by the president of the Senegalese Sports Workers Federation, Tony Ndoye, and accompanied by veteran Senegalese sports journalist Abdoulie Diaw has arrived in the Country ahead of the 22nd July Sports Championship.

Saikou Jarjue, the secretary general of the National Inter-Department Sports Association ( NISA) said the purpose of the Senegalese visit is to attend the balloting which will be held today at the Friendship Hostel at 5pm.

He disclosed that the delegation will also meet the minister of Youth and Sports, Alieu K Jammeh, the minister of the Interior and the NISA President who also doubles as the director general of Immigration, Buba Sagnia. The delegation will also visit facilities where the Sporting events will be held. The delegation will leave Banjul for Dakar on Tuesday.
