Tanzania: Over 25 Patients for Eye, Heart Surgeries in India

APPROXIMATELY 25 people with the problem of shortsightedness technically known as myopia are in for a big day beginning on 16 through 18 July next week when Sri Sathya Sai Organisation of Tanzania (SSST) conducts a 'unique exercise of screening patients suffering from eye sight and heart related problems' in Dar es Salaam to fly to India for treatment.

All those diagnosed at the camp to have medical complications will be sent to Sri Sathya Sai Hospital in Rajkot, India 'where they will be treated free of cost'. "A batch of patients will be selected during the camp and part of them will be managed by Regency Medical Centre for further treatment," says SSST Chairman Nathumai Sajnan in Dar es Salaam told the 'Daily News On Saturday.'
