Tunis — State of Qatar's Crown Emir Sheikh Tamim ibn Hamad al-Thani arrived in Tunis, on Monday, for a two-day official visit.
Tunisia's guest was seen in, at the Tunis-Carthage International Airport, by Prime Minister Hamadi Jebali and several government members.
"The guest expressed delight at being in Tunisia," reads a communiqué.
The press release also adds that "the visit falls in line with the will driving leaders of the two countries to confer and exchange views on developments marking the Arab and international scenes and on issues of mutual interest."
"This visit is also meant to further promote the close fraternity ties binding the two brotherly peoples," the communiqué reads in conclusion.
