An official of the country's main opposition Congress for Democratic Change or CDC has predicted the prospects of victory for the party in future elections as a "dark hanging cloud".
Though Senator Joyce Musu Sumo of Montserrado County did not make clear her primary reason for her prediction, she emphasized the urgent need for the CDC to re-adjust its strategies in extending an olive branch to disenchanted members for reconciliation. Failure to do so, she noted, will lead to its bleak political future.
