Angola: Portuguese Foreign Minister in Luanda

Luanda — Portugal's Foreign Affairs minister, Paulo Portas, arrived in Luanda this Tuesday morning to participate in the opening act of the Luanda International Fair (Filda/2012).

Paulo Portas, who did not speak to the press, will witness the opening of Filda, which is a multi-sectoral trade fair, whose opening ceremony is scheduled to happen this Tuesday afternoon.

The event has been gathering, every year, since 1983, national and foreign businesspeople from all continents, who exhibit their products and services, as well as make partnerships.

The event will take place until 22 July under the theme "The challenges on investments attraction, strategies, legislation, institutions, infrastructures and human resources".

According to the organisers, 700 firms are enrolled to exhibit in the fair, 45 percent of which are Angolan enterprises.
