Angolan Students At Lusophone Math Olympics

Luanda — At least four Angolan students will participate on 20-28 July in the second edition of the international math Olympics of the Portuguese-speaking Countries Community (CPLP).

The students, winners of the two editions of math Olympics in Angola, will be accompanied by four lecturers.

The mathematics Olympics aims at improving the quality of teaching and discovery of talents in fundamental mathematics for scientific and technological development, promoting the study of mathematics in the CPLP countries.

The initiative also helps create opportunities for the exchange of educational experiences and enable cooperation among the Lusophone countries to the creation of tools that allow the training of students in international Olympiad of the community.
