Angola: Writer John Bella Urges Parents to Encourage Reading

Malanje — The deputy secretary of the Angolan Youth Literature Brigade, Jorge Marques Bela "John Bella", on Thursday in Malanje Province urged parents and guardians to encourage youths and children to create habit of reading as a way of developing intellectual knowledge.

According to the writer, the habit of reading is a practice which adults should teach their children, whose task does not depend only on families but also on teachers to create moments of reading.

The writer stressed that when children want to plunge into the literary world they should not manage alone because adults are the ones with the power to decide on it.
