Angola: Luanda International Fair Marks Portugal Day

Luanda — The Luanda International Fair (Filda) reserved this Thursday the symbolic celebration of the Portugal day of exhibition, a country which participates in this year's edition with 90 companies and occupies a pavilion with an area of three thousand square metres.

To honour Portugal's day at the biggest business fair of Angola, the organisers of the fair expect to receive the assistant minister of the Prime Minister and also minister of Parliamentary Affairs, Miguel Relvas, who is in Luanda since Wednesday for a 48-hour work visit.

Angola is the fourth main destination of Portuguese exportations and the first outside the European Union, according to information from the Agency for Investment and External Commerce of Portugal (AICEP).

As regards private investment in 2011, Portugal invested in Angola more than 246 million euros, while Angola invested in Portugal about Eur 70 million.
