Eritrea: More Accomplishment Registered As Regards Child Immunization in Agordat Sub-Zone

Agordat — The health Ministry's branch in Agordat sub-zone said that more accomplishment has been registered as regards child immunization in line with the growing community awareness on various health issues.

Accordingly, the Administration of the health center in Agordat town pointed out that the number of immunized below 9 months infants is on the rise.

Mr. Samuel Teklai and Mr. Ahmed Omar, nurses at the health center, said that impressive community cooperation is being demonstrated during child immunization outreach campaigns in the area, and voiced appreciation for the prevailing popular awareness pertaining to child and mother health issues.

Ms. Amna Hamd Mohammed on her part indicated that outreach health services by the Ministry had a facilitating role in raising community awareness regarding a number of health issues. She also voiced satisfaction with the free medical services being rendered by the Government.
