Tunisia: UAE-Funded Dialysis Centre in El-Kef

El — Office Director of the Emirati Prime Minister Khaled Suleiman, announced that the United Arab Emirates (UAE) funded a whole project of a healthcare centre for dialysis and kidney diseases treatment in El-Kef hospital, northwestern Tunisia, under the shape of a donation worth about 1.5 million Tunisian dinars (MTD).

At the end of his meeting with Prime Minister Hamadi Jebali, on Wednesday in Tunis, the Emirati guest stressed that "the project will meet the region's needs and those of the whole northwestern part of Tunisia, in matters of health services, which are expensive."

He asserted that the Emirati officials "are able to see for themselves, each time they visit, country's improving situation, which would encourage more investments in the future and develop bilateral co-operation between the public and private sectors."
