Liberia: China Donates U.S.$6 Million Equipment - to Boost Customs Operations

The Government of Liberia through the Ministry of Finance Customs Division has received two high Tech container scanners worth over US$6 million USD from the People's Republic of China.

Turning over the equipment yesterday at the Freeport of Monrovia, Chinese Ambassador Zhoa Jianhua said this is the first time that China has transferred high tech scanners to the government of Liberia in the form of grant.
