Nigeria: FCT Sets Aug 3 Deadline for Payment of Hajj Fares

The Federal Capital Territory (FCT) has set August 3 for intending pilgrims who have deposited various amounts to balance up or forfeit their Hajj seats.

A statement yesterday by the FCT Muslim Pilgrims' Welfare Board's spokesman, Malam Aliyu Usman said the board has given its intending pilgrims who deposited money through their various area councils up to Friday August 3 to balance the money or lose the seat.

He said category A are to pay N736, 570.05, category B N658, 695.05 while category C N622, 445.05.

"Pilgrims are expected to balance the fare on or before Friday 3rd August 2012 or forfeit their seat." Aliyu said.
