Angola: Women Praise Governance Programme of MPLA

Luanda — Women from various Angolan society walks have extolled Governance Programme of the ruling MPLA party for 2012/2017 period, stressing that it meets the people's expectations.

This was stated Tuesday in Luanda during the meeting of the ruling party's women wing (OMA) intended to present the above programme and the Election Manifesto.

The event gathered over four thousand people.

Paula Borges, chorister of the United Methodist Church, said that the country is beginning to show signs of change and it just needs more employment opportunities, a commitment stipulated in the programme of the MPLA governance.

In her turn, Jacinta Gomes, a former guerrilla, who welcomed the party's mandate, said that people can bet on this programme.

Other members like Paulina da Piedade and Mariana Adão also stressed, on behalf other women, the ruling party's governance programme for 2012/2017 period.
