Morocco: HM the King Chairs First Religious Lecture of Ramadan

Rabat — HM King Mohammed VI, Commander of the Faithful, accompanied by HRH Prince Moulay Rachid, chaired, on Tuesday at the royal palace of Rabat, the first religious lecture of the holy month of Ramadan.

The lecture was given by Endowments and Islamic Affairs Minister Ahmed Toufiq under the theme "Morocco's immutable religious values rooted in action by virtuous predecessors," in the light of Koranic verse: "Allah has promised those who have believed among you and done righteous deeds that He will surely grant them succession [to authority] upon the earth just as He granted it to those before them and that He will surely establish for them [therein] their religion which He has preferred for them and that He will surely substitute for them, after their fear, security." Surat Al-Nur (the light), verse 55.
