Angola: Historian Lectures on Iberian Slavery Route

Luanda — The Angolan historian Simão Souindoula will lecture on Friday in Luanda on "Iberian Slavery Route. Portugueses leuco-dermes atestam genes bantu".

According to a press note released to Angop on Wednesday, the event is part of cycle of conferences that are being run by the historian on the premises of the Angolan Writer Association (UEA).

During his lecture, the historian will highlight the fact that Portugal, nation, as singular, expansionist, have held in the mids of 15th century, contingent of black slaves, coming from the western Africa coastlines as from 1441.
