Angola: U.S. Entrepreneurs Want To Invest in Agro-Industry

Lubango — US entrepreneurs expressed on Wednesday in Lubango city their intention to invest in the sectors of mining, agriculture, agro-industry and civil engineering in the southern Huíla province.

The chairwoman of the Angola/US chamber of commerce, Jeannine Scott, leads the American entrepreneurial delegation that is paying a two-day visit to Huíla province since Wednesday so as to identify areas for investments and establishment of eventual business partnerships with local entrepreneurs.

During their arrival, the US business people were received in audience by the provincial governor of Huíla Isaac dos Anjos.

Angop learnt that the governor was briefed on the objectives of the US business delegation and pointed out the economic potentials of the region.

US delegation will also meet with local entrepreneurs, so as to share susceptible information to stimulate establishment of business partnerships, as well as visit projects in progress in entrepreneurial domain.

The US delegation will end on Thursday the visit in Huíla province, and then it will leave for the central Benguela province with the same purpose.

This is the first time US entrepreneurs visits Huíla province in 2012.
