Luanda — The Angolan economist Job Graça released on Wednesday in Luanda his scientific book entitled "Economia do Desenvolvimento", with approaches especially addressed to Angolan economics students.

305-page book is divided into two parts and it portrays various intrinsic topics on the world economy.

The book was edited by the National Cultural Industries Institute (INIC) and 1000 copies are available for the public.

Speaking to Angop, the author said that the book aims, among others, to present and analyse the contemporary problems of economic development that is being recorded by African developing countries.

He said that the main objective of the book is to endow the students with analytical and participatory thinking capacity in issues related to economic development, basing on modern economic theoretical know-how and studies of specific cases.

Born in Dondo district in the northern Kwanza Norte province, Job Graça has a doctor degree on economy since 1998 by the UK Essex University in North Ireland and a university degree on planning by Agostinho Neto University in 1983.

Currently, Job Graça is the Vice-minister of Planning for Macroeconomic matters since 2010.
