Tunis — An incubator for social economy is expected to open within a few months in Kasserine to support sustainable development economic projects.
According to e-magazine, "econostrum.info," specialised in economic news in the Mediterranean, it is an initiative of the Mediterranean Institute which is testing social entrepreneurship in this city, in partnership with the European Investment Bank.
Developed in collaboration with Inter-made Association which has supported for more than ten years now the emergence of social economic projects in Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur, the incubator is to host, initially, about 10 entrepreneurs in order to assist them in a specified period of time with a view to easing, later on, their access to funding.
A first mission had confirmed the feasibility of this initiative early this month. Twenty thousand Euros are invested to launch the incubator, which will provide a technical and financial supervision for promoters.
