Multiple awards winning actor, Gabriel Afolayan has finally launched himself into the Nigerian music scene with the recent release of the music video of his hit single, "Kokoro Ife" (Love Bug).

The son of a thespian, Ade Love, and younger brother to one of the most accomplished film makers and directors, Kunle Afolayan has blended his good acting skills with his music artistry.

G-Fresh, as he is fondly called by friends, released the music video, which was shot and directed by Katung, as a way to help promote the song and establish him as a musician. The video saw Gabriel infuse some bits of his acting skills into the music video.

He has also disclosed that a new single will follow shortly and that he will not disappoint his fans.

In a recent chat with WG, Gabriel dismissed the fear that his venturing into the music industry will affect his acting career, saying that "I will always continue to make movies that will keep people at the edge of their sits while I continue to establish myself in the musical terrain."

Gabriel said music runs in the blood of his family, and his venturing into it now, is a clear confirmation of what his late father stood for while he was alive.
