THE Kakamega Kenya National Union of Teachers yesterday accused the Teachers Service Commission of harassing teachers furthering their education.
The union says demands by TSC that teachers who have recently acquired degrees should have their papers validated by the Kenya National Examinations Council is tantamount to harassment. "The council is demanding for Sh2,000 from every teacher referred to it for validation of their degrees and this is a bit disturbing to us and must stop," said Patrick Chungani, the county's union chairman.
