Brazil FC of Penyem village over the weekend beat Newcastle 1-0 to reach the finals of the Manduar Youths and Sport Committee nawettan in a semi-final game played at the Manduar football field. Abdou Badjie scored the only goal of the match in the 58th minute.
Speaking to Observer Sports shortly after the game, Omar Bah of the Manduar Youth and Sports Committee said Brazil FC had maintained an unbeaten run in all their six games and as such were confident they would lift the trophy.
