Nigeria: Gaaicom, Igbo Presidency and Boko Haram

THE two-day pre-convention meeting of the General Assembly of All Igbo Christian Organizations and Ministries (GAAICOM) holding at the Ohaneze Ndigbo national secretariat on July 12 and 13, 2012 is a welcome event in the face of the conspiracy by certain elements in Nigeria to suffocate the economic, political and social well-being of Ndigbo.

On the economic scene, consistently since the advent of Nigeria's brand of democracy in 1999, the South-East has attracted the least federal allocation of all the six zones of Nigeria.
